Pramabanan Temple is located about 17 kilometers east of Yogyakarta City. This temple is the greatest hindhu temple in Indonesia. It's was built by Sanjaya Dynasthy in the 9th century. Prambanan, also called of Loro Jonggrang Temple by local people. As the hindhu temple, the main temple has three shrines, dedicated to hindhu Trinity, Siva, Vishnu and Brahma. The largest of which rises to a height of 47 meters is dedicated to Siva. As matter of fact the whole complex is referred to as Siva Temple. During the month may to October as full moon there are Ramayana Ballet is usually presented in the evening from 07.30 pm-09.30pm, on the open air platform at the Prambanan Temple complex.
